Art and Adventure in 2017 (an end of year retrospective)
Happy New Year, Dear Friends!
My wish for 2018 is that we unleash our creative power and fill this planet with the beauty, love, and ferocious life it so desperately needs. Looking back, I am so grateful for all the art that glimmered in a time of darkness. Here are my art highlights from last year.
Performed Type/Caste in five Bay Area theatres, on two college campuses, and toured to Vermont, Texas, and North Carolina
Featured on KQED, the local NPR affiliate, in this stunning video by Emmy-nominee Claudia Escobar
Fulfilled a long-time dream by appearing in Robert O’Hara's brilliantly hilarious Bootycandy
Assistant directed, choreographed, and performed in WALLS with the San Franciso Mime Troupe
Edited and wrote several articles about the local theatre scene in my first full year as Features Curator for Theatre Bay Area
Received two Theatre Bay Area awards for Outstanding Featured Actor (Bootycandy) and Outstanding Solo Production (Type/Caste)
