Type/Caste Hits the Road!

Happy New Year, dear Friends! In a few days an unapologetically bigoted, Cheeto-hued narcissist will assume the US Presidency surrounded by a cabal of bloodthirsty billionaires. The struggle for health, happiness, and liberty for all seems especially dire and now, more than ever, we need ART to encourage empathy and to stimulate dialogue; to stir our imaginations so that we never lose sight of the kinder, more just world that is so so possible. So it brings me great joy to announce that I will be taking my solo show, TYPE/CASTE, on the road, spreading its boundary-breaking message all over this nation from Berkeley to Texas, fromSan Francisco to Vermont. BLASTing off at Shotgun Players The TYPE/CASTE 2017 Tour kicks off with a performance at Shotgun Player's BLAST Festival of New Works in Berkeley, CA. Hosted by one of the most inspiring theatre companies in the Bay, this festival features work by a crop of really special artists from the Bay Area and beyond. I'm so honored to perform Type/Caste here on Friday, February 10 at 8pm. More info and tickets Here.

SAN FRANCISCO, I'm back! TYPE/CASTE will run for 5 performances in Murmuration, a new festival of solo performance at San Francisco's renowned Z Space. Type/Caste performs on Feb 9, 11, 12, 28, and March 7. Get tickets and more info Here

AUSTIN, TEXAS, I'm coming home! The TYPE/CASTE 2017 Tour continues with a performance at OUTsider Fest in Austin, TX, a city so dear to my heart and full of so many people who I love madly and with whom I long to share this play. The performance is on Thursday, February 16, at 8pm at the Vortex. Preference will be given to those who have Festival passes but there will also be tickets available at the door.
